Sadly, 1 in 5 16-year-old drivers has an accident within their first year of driving, and texting while driving makes a crash up to 23 times more likely.  Please remember to put your phones away, buckle up, and drive safely!
-
Did you know that 16-year-olds have higher crash rates than drivers of any other age?  In the spirit of the assembly being held this Friday to promote safer driving, please make sure to buckle up and drive carefully, especially in bad weather.  Remember that the risk of crashing increases with each mile per hour over the speed limit!
-
Did you know that talking on a cell phone can double the likelihood of an accident, as well as slow a young driver's reaction time down to that of a 70-year-old?  Please put away your phones and buckle up when driving!
-
Attention all student drivers -- you must have a parking permit to park in the student parking lot.  Any students who do not have a parking permit and park off campus are not allowed to go to their vehicles during the school day.  Parking permits are issued after Fair Week to students on a first come, first served basis to Seniors first, then to underclassmen.  Also, all students are reminded to use seat belts when driving or as a passenger in any vehicle.  We want all our students to be safe!
-
Have a great day!!
