B.A.S.E. is designed to help middle school students overcome issues including but are not limited to alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and mental health issues which pose a barrier to the student's success. Our primary goal is to help the students overcome these barriers in order that they may achieve, remain in school and advance.
Anyone can refer a student to B.A.S.E. when they are concerned about someone's behavior; any school staff, a student's friend, a family member or community member by filling out a referral form and placing it in the B.A.S.E. box located in the middle school library. The students themselves can even go directly to the B.A.S.E. team to ask for help.
