  • AR  Requirements for Quarter 3:  AR requirements for Quarter 3 will be due on March 29th   (by 2:30).   
     Two non-fiction books at 6th grade level or higher and  two fiction books at 6th grade level or higher are the reading requirements for quarter 1. Students must earn a 70% or higher on each book for receive credit.  Half (two books) of the AR requirements are due by mid-quarter for full credit.

AR Reading –  In order to earn points, each book must be either worth six points (or higher) or at a sixth grade reading level (or higher). Students must read one fiction book and pass the AR test with a 70% or higher; this is 50% of the quarter grade. Students must also read one non-fiction book during the quarter and pass the AR test with a 70% or higher, and this is the other 50% of their quarter grade. Tests must be taken in the room with the teacher present. AR grades for the quarter are reported on the interim progress reports, and the student’s quarter AR grade is finalized on the AR points’ deadline.
