MESSAGE FROM MR. MORAN
Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! I would like to introduce myself as the principal of Memorial Elementary School (MES).
I am originally from Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, a small town not far from New York City. I am a graduate of Bloomsburg University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Since then, I began my career in education with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. During that time my eductional experiences included the following: grade 2 teacher, grade 4 teacher, math specialist, and assistant principal. In addition, I earned a Master of Science degree in Administration and Supervision from The Johns Hopkins University.
On a personal note, I am married to my wife Lori and have a 2 year old son named Cayden. My wife and I are extremely happy to have returned to the Bloomsburg area and look forward to raising our family here.
In addition to spending time with my family, I love to watch and play sports. My two favorite sports to watch are baseball and football. My favorite teams include the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.
