What is an OPAC? OPAC is short for Online Public Access Catalog. In other words, the OPAC is an automated, electronic card catalog that allows you to find all the items the library has to share.

Searching tips for the OPAC. The fewer words you use in your search the better your results will probably be. If you know the exact title of an item enter that and click on the Title button. If you know the author's name it is usually best to enter just the last name and click the Author button. If you are not sure of the exact title, author or subject you need, enter the term you wish to search for and click the All Words button. Be sure to try different variations of the term you are interested in and you may want to enter just the first portion of a word that has many variations.
